Why am I asked questions during check-in?

Learn why parents may be asked questions during check-in in MyKidReports and how schools use this information.

Written by MyKidReports

You are asked questions during check-in because your school may require additional information, such as your child’s health status. These questions are set by the school to ensure safety and compliance.

In MyKidReports, whether or not you see health or safety questions during check-in/out depends on the school’s settings:

  • None – No questions are shown at either check-in or check-out.

  • Check-in – Questions appear only at check-in, not at check-out.

  • Check-out – Questions appear only at check-out, not at check-in.

  • Both – Questions appear during both check-in and check-out.

If your school has turned on check-in questions, you will be prompted to answer them before completing check-in/out. If the school has turned off this feature, no questions will appear at all.
