In MyKidReports, schools have the option to enable autopay for parents, making the payment process more streamlined and automatic. This feature allows schools to offer convenience to parents by setting up automatic deductions for recurring payments, such as tuition fees or other school-related expenses.

Benefits of Autopay in MyKidReports:

Convenience: Parents don’t need to manually pay each invoice, reducing the risk of missed payments. Schools can ensure they receive payments on time.

Timely Payments: Autopay ensures that payments are processed on or before the due date, helping schools maintain a steady cash flow.

Seamless Payment Management: Schools can manage recurring payments with less administrative work, as invoices are paid automatically when autopay is enabled.

Security: All payment details and transactions are securely processed via Stripe, ensuring safe and reliable payment processing.


How Autopay Works

School Sends Autopay Invitation

  • To enable autopay, the school must first send an invitation to the parent through MyKidReports.

  • The school can send this invitation via email to parents who wish to set up automatic payments for their child's school fees.

Invite Parents to Autopay on the Web

Step 1: Log in to your account.

Step 2: Go to 'Billing' > Click on the 'Dashboard' tab.

Step 3: Go to the 'Students' tab and click on the 'Invite to autopay' to invite the desired student for autopay.

Step 1: Log in to your account.

Step 2: Click on the icon.

Step 3: Go to the 'Billing' tab and click on the 'Students'.

Step 4: Click on the 'Invite to autopay' to invite the desired student for autopay.


Parent Receives Autopay Invitation:

  • The parent will receive an email with the autopay invitation from the school.

  • The email contains instructions for the parent to accept the autopay option.


Parents can the Autopay Setup:

Once the parent sets their autopay to provide their payment details such as a credit card or bank account) that will be used for future automatic payments. This step is for parents.

Step 1: Login into your account.

Step 2: Click on the 'MAKE PAYMENT' button.

Step 3: You will see a left-side pop-up. Enter the required details, make sure you checked (Save this account on file, for future automatic payments.) this option, and click on the 'PAY' button.

Autopay is Enabled:

  • After the parent successfully sets up their payment method, autopay is enabled for future transactions.

  • The system will automatically charge the parent on the due date of each invoice, without requiring manual intervention for each payment.

Automatic Payments for Future Invoices:

  • Once enabled, MyKidReports will automatically process payments for any future invoices generated by the school for the student.

  • The payment is debited automatically on the invoice due date, ensuring timely payments without the parent needing to manually pay each time.
