Access to staff profiles in MyKidReports is controlled by user roles to ensure security and proper data management. Follow the steps below to understand who can view and manage staff information.
1. Administrator Access
Administrators have full access to staff profiles. They can add new staff members, edit existing profiles, assign roles, update certifications, manage medical information, and deactivate or remove staff accounts.
2. Director or Manager Access
Directors or managers (if assigned administrative permissions) can manage staff profiles based on the access level granted to them. This typically includes updating staff details, assigning staff to rooms, and managing certifications.
3. Staff Member Access
Staff members can access their own profiles only. They are usually allowed to view and update limited personal information, such as contact details, depending on the permissions set by the administrator.
4. Permission-Based Control
All access is role-based. Administrators can customize permissions to control what each user role can view or edit, ensuring sensitive information remains secure.
This structured access system helps maintain data accuracy, privacy, and compliance while allowing staff to manage relevant information efficiently.
