How can staff Mark/Add a child as absence in MyKidReports?

Staff members utilize the Admin Dashboard or designated mobile application to access the attendance module and formally designate a child as absent, ensuring an accurate, time-stamped record is generated in the system's log.

This process enables the institution to maintain real-time child-to-staff ratio compliance and triggers automated notifications for both administrative oversight and parental confirmation.

Step 1: Log in to your account.

Step 2: Go to 'My School' > Click on the 'Student' tab.

Step 3: Locate and click on the specific student's profile.

Step 4: Inside the profile of the student.

Step 5: Down below, there is an option in the attendance log—you can see the option of "Add Absence."

Step 6: Staff can quickly mark a planned or unplanned absence by tapping "Add Absence" in the student's attendance log within their profile, selecting the date(s), adding optional notes (e.g., reason or duration), and saving to update records instantly with real-time notifications to parents and administrators.


This feature ensures accurate attendance tracking, simplifies daily operations for staff, automates absence notifications to keep parents informed, supports compliance reporting, and integrates seamlessly with billing to adjust charges for absent days when applicable.
