Yes, MyKidReports provides an Admin Approval feature. When the “Admin Approval Needed” option is enabled, any activity logged by staff will first require administrator review and approval before it becomes visible to parents.
Benefit: This ensures that all shared updates are accurate, appropriate, and verified, giving administrators full control over the information communicated to families.
Restrict or allow staff to add activities in the app
Step 1: Log in to your MyKidReports Administrator account on the app.
| Step 2: Tap on the Add Activity icon located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Click on the 'Settings'
| Step 4: A list of created activities will appear. Tap the activity you want to set for the admin approval (e.g., click the Breakfast).

Step 5: In the Activity Preferences section, you will see a toggle button. By default, it is disabled. Simply switch the toggle to enable it, and then tap Save to apply the changes.
Whenever a staff member posts an activity under Breakfast, it will first be sent to the Admin for review and will not be visible to parents until approved.

Now, let's view if the staff will post activity on Breakfast
Step 1: Log in to your MyKidReports App.
| Step 2: Tap on the Post Activity icon located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5: You can optionally set the time, select a meal type as Breakfast, add items, photos, or notes. Click the Send for Approval button.

Step 1: Log in to your MyKidReports Administrator account on the app.
Step 2: Admin will get a notification as you see the Add Activity icon. Click the Add Activity Icon

Step 4: All the activities that need approval from the admin will be seen in a list. Click on the activity to review it.

Step 5: Review all the things like Meal type, photos, Notes, and Assigned Students. If required, the admin can make changes. If something is wrong, then the Admin can reject the activity by clicking Reject Activity. Finally, click on the Approve Activity button.
