MyKidReports allows administrators and teachers to easily assign activities either to entire classrooms or to individual children, ensuring flexibility and accuracy in daily activity reporting.
Assign activities to specific rooms or for a child in the app
Step 1: Log in to your MyKidReports Administrator account on the app.
| Step 2: Tap on the Add Activity icon located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: You will see multiple activity categories. For example, if you want to post an activity in the Food category, click on the Food icon.

Step 4: Here, multiple ways to assign or add children to the activity. Let's know about one by one.
(a) Assign by Room: Click on the Select all option to select an entire classroom to apply the activity to all children in that room.

Step 4: (b) Assign by Individual Child: Select one or more children manually, one by one.

Step 4: (c) Assign to Checked-in Only: Use the Checked-in only option to include only those children currently marked as present.
When you select the “Checked-in Only” option, the system will display only the children currently present in the classrooms, allowing you to easily assign the activity to them.

And then click the Next button. On the details screen, you can optionally set the time, select a meal type, add items, photos, or notes. If you want to post this activity only for staff, check the Staff Only box; otherwise, leave it unchecked. Finally, click the Add Activity button.
Staff only: The “Staff Only” checkbox allows you to post an activity exclusively for staff visibility, keeping it hidden from parents.
Note: You can also assign activities to specific rooms or for a child through the web, as MyKidReports offers the same functionality on both the app and the web platform.

Yes. Any activity assigned to a child or their room (unless marked as Staff Only) will appear in the parent’s Activity Feed in real time.
