It depends on the permissions enabled by the school for each linked family member.
MyKidReports is designed to keep all authorized family members informed and connected. When multiple guardians are linked to a child’s profile, each guardian can receive updates, messages, and notifications. However, the type of updates they see depends on the permissions assigned by the school.
Permissions are managed by the school based on the parents’ request. For example, if a parent wants to add grandparents as a family member, they may only want the grandparents to have pickup authorization without access to billing, activity feeds, or messages. In this case, the school will enable only the Authorized to Pick Up permission and disable the rest.
Some common permissions include:
Enable Billing – Access to view and manage billing.
Authorized to Pick Up – Permission to pick up the child.
Show Activity Feed – Access to see daily activities and reports.
Include in Messages by Default – Receive messages and notifications from the school.
Note: Only guardians with the permissions enabled by the school will receive the corresponding updates.
