Will I see incident reports in the app?

  • Yes, in MyKidReports, parents will receive incident reports directly in the app. Parents can view these reports only when the school shares or sends the incident reports for their child.

  • These reports include important details such as the type of injury or incident, the body parts affected, any medical treatment provided, where and how the incident occurred, and whether the child was taken to a clinic or hospital. They may also include notes on first aid given and who was contacted (parents/guardians, licensing, or staff), ensuring parents stay informed about their child’s health and safety.

View incident reports in the app

Step 1: Log in to your MyKidReports App.

Step 2: You will receive incident report notifications on the home page in the Activity Feed section.

Step 3: To view the incident reports, tap the Profile icon and select the Student's Profile.

Step 4: Open the Form & Requests tab. Here, you can view incident reports.

Step 5: Select the incident report with a Pending status to open it.

Step 6: Review the report, add your signature, and then tap Save & Submit.

Will I get a notification every time an incident report is created for my child?

Yes. Parents receive a notification in the MyKidReports app whenever a new incident report is created for their child. This ensures you are informed immediately about any health or safety-related updates.

Can I view past incident reports, or only new ones?

You can view both. All incident reports—new and previously submitted—are available in your child’s profile under the Forms & Requests tab.

Are incident reports stored permanently in the app?

Yes. Incident reports remain stored in the app as part of your child’s record.
