Using meta tag suggestions in MyKidReports helps preschools optimize their website for search engines by improving keyword relevance, descriptions, and visibility.

This feature boosts search rankings, attracts more prospective parents, and enhances online discoverability for the center.

Step 1: Log in to the MyKidReports on the web.

Step 2: Go to the Website option.

Step 3: Click the Edit option on the desired page you want to customize for search engines using meta tags.

Step 4: Hover the icon, and you will see the Settings option hit the Settings.

Step 5: You will see the Meta tag suggestions section where you need to enter Title, Permalink, Keywords, and description and click the Save button.

Here’s a one-line description for each with an example:

  1. Title: Specifies the title of the page, visible in search results and browser tabs.
    Example: <title>Best Childcare Services | Preschool</title>

  2. Permalink: Defines the URL or permanent link to the page.
    Example: <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.example.com/childcare-services" />

  3. Keywords: Lists relevant words or phrases that help search engines understand the page's content.
Example: <meta name="keywords" content="childcare, daycare, preschool, best childcare services" />

  4. Description: Provides a brief summary of the page content, often displayed in search engine results.
Example: <meta name="description" content="Discover top-rated childcare services with expert teachers and safe environments." />
